Durga is considered to be the combined force of all Gods to destroy the evil forces. She is Tri shakthi of Goddess Para shakthi, Maha Lakshmi, Maha Saeaswathi and also the Trimurthies of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Brahma.

She is considered as Shanta Swarupi (calm or peaceful countenance).
